So then, what exactly is a blog? A blog, as stated previously, is a web log or online journal where people post about their experiences, feelings, knowledge and ideas. The page you are reading is itself a part of a blog (and is called a blog post).
Blogs are a pretty recent phenomenon. Indeed, the usage of the term "blogging" has increased manifold over the past seven years. People around the world are blogging about the things they love and feel strongly for.
But what exactly is the 'use' of a blog? Is it only a way of putting ourselves out there, seeking attention from our virtual friends?
Not really. You see, a blog can be used as a source of regular income, if it attracts a large number of people to it. In other words, the more the number of people who visit your blog, the more money you stand to earn from it.
You can choose to post anything on your blog, be it personal memoirs, poetry, comics, technical articles, photographs etc etc. As long as the content is interesting and people continue to visit your website, you are good to go!
